Birthplace and early years

Charlotte Ghant is the third of five children born to her parents, Simon and Rosa Mayo.  She was born in December of 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia and she is a Grady hospital baby.  As a child she attended Tilson Elementary and graduated from Gordon High School in 1984.  As with most people she joined the church at an early age and worked to assist her pastor and his wife.  However, it was in 1998 when she fully committed her life to Christ and begin winning souls for our Lord Jesus.

Life after graduation and employment 

After graduating from high school Charlotte spent many years as the caretaker of her parents who were suffering from illnesses.  In January of 2004 she married Minister Keith Wayne Ghant.  They have three children, Prentis, Keisha and Alexis.  In addition, she has three grandchildren she dearly love.  Charlotte's employment experience includes retailers such as Ross, Marshalls and Belks.  Currently, she is working in the food service industry which she immensely enjoys.

Church affiliation

Sis. Ghant has been a member of Lighthouse for approximately fifteen years. She currently serves as the church photographer and videographer.  Furthermore, she assists teaching the youth Sunday School class and helps Sis. Deborah Jackson in the food service department. She loves the Lord and cherish working in church projects with others.
