Beginning and Early Years

Minister Keith Wayne Ghant was born in Augusta, Georgia in 1965 and is the last of seven children by John Henry and Thelma Ghant.  At an early  age Keith surrendered his life to Christ which he credits to his grandparents, Pastor Walter and First Lady Daisy Jones.  After graduating from George P. Butler High School he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and began his occupational career.

Marriage and Church Affiliations

Keith is married to the former Charlotte Mayo and they have four children, Prentis, Keisha, Keith Jr. and Alexis.  In addition, he also has three grandchildren that are adorable.  In 1990, Minister Ghant joined the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church and was ordained as a Deacon in 1992.  In 2004 Minister Ghant was licensed to preach the Gospel of Christ and in 2013 he received his ordaination as a Minister to preach the message of our Lord Jesus.

Ministerial Training

Minister Ghant states he has spent many years in studying the Holy Bible as is evident by his preaching.  In addition, he has taken correspondence courses with C.W. Luttrell.  For Rev. Ghant, the preaching of the Gospel of Christ is what he believes is the most rewarding endeavor he can pursue in this life.
